Terms of Service

Last updated 29 August 2026.

These terms cover your use of Megapost, a tool for writing a post once and publishing it to several social media accounts. Megapost is operated by Runloop. By creating an account you agree to them.

What Megapost does

You connect your own social media accounts, write posts, and choose when and where they go out. Megapost publishes them on your behalf using the access each platform grants it. It is a tool that acts on your instructions — the posts are yours, and so is the responsibility for them.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 16 to use Megapost.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
  • Only connect accounts you are entitled to post from, whether your own or ones you are authorised to manage.

Your content

You keep every right you already had in what you write and upload. You grant Megapost permission to store it and to send it to the platforms you select, which is simply what publishing requires — nothing more.

You are responsible for what you publish, including whether you have the rights to any images or video you upload.

Acceptable use

Do not use Megapost to:

  • break the rules of any platform you connect, including their limits on automation, duplication and spam;
  • publish unlawful material, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
  • post on behalf of an account you do not have permission to use;
  • attack, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

Each platform's own terms apply to anything published there, and they can suspend your account for breaking them regardless of what happens here.

The platforms are outside our control

Megapost depends on APIs run by other companies. They change, impose rate limits, reject content, and occasionally fail. A post can therefore fail to publish for reasons we cannot prevent, and a platform can revoke Megapost's access to your account at any time.

We show you what each platform said when something fails, so you can act on it. We cannot promise every post will be published, or published on time.

Deleting posts

Removing a post from Megapost and removing it from a platform are two different things. Where a platform offers a way to delete a published post, Megapost can ask on your behalf; some platforms offer no such facility, and any request can fail. The app reports which actually happened. A post that is gone from Megapost may still be live on a platform, and removing it there is then up to you.

Availability

Megapost is offered as it is, without any guarantee of uptime. It is actively being developed: features change, and there may be interruptions. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything you care about keeping.

Ending it

You can stop using Megapost whenever you like — disconnect your accounts and ask us to delete yours. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Runloop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Megapost — including posts that fail to publish, publish late, or publish to the wrong place, and anything that follows from something you published. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

These terms may change as Megapost develops. The date at the top shows when they last did, and significant changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use Megapost after a change means you accept it.
